Sorry for the lack of posts I just have some stuff going on (just normal stuff not any kind of exciting or scandalous type stuff) and archery is kinda taking a back seat, but the summer league is coming up so hopefully that will get me back in the game. (It better I am our clubs team captain).
Keep the comments coming and if you have any suggestion for thing you would like to see let me know.

Can't remember where the post went....I haven't been able to find it, p'raps 'coz it was so boring ? but following on from the clicker saga, and bare boss shooting...
ReplyDeletethe other night at the club we were shooting a Worcester, and for 30 arrows I was on it... but 31 or 2, I just could NOT get through the clicker...3 attempts I had. So I stopped shooting and never completed the round. Today, I went again to bare boss shooting and shot about 60 (a lot for me!) arrows....ALL of which grouped very nicely. As soon as I went to a target, it all went to poop! Could it be the target and not the clicker that is the real problem?
...but I just love shooting the bow and new Spigarelli 30 carbon sight!!
Do you mean this one:
ReplyDeleteAaah ...Clickers....a bit like aah....Bisto! Not... One could do a "War and Peace" on clickers, or perhaps a "Clickers Anon" support group. I accept all the reasons for using one.......no problem. Have used it all through the last 12 months plus, following my previous on/off years experience....and indeed things very slowly improved, especially on the few occasions out doors. I also freely admit that I have not shot enough of late, by a wide margin. In the next 3 or 4 months that is going to get worse..... Anyway, today I went up to the range, a no. of friends around, started shooting a 30 arrow round (locally the "Andy Harris"), and it varied from inconsistent to....inconsistent......... I got so frustrated and was really struggling to get through the clicker..... so I stopped using the clicker which I knew was a mistake, but I was close to packing up altogether....archery that is! Anyway, with the support of some at the range, I put it back and just shot at the blank boss
It is as I thought! :-)
