Hmm... struggling for consistency my biggest problem is height, a clicker would solve the problem I am sure but I really don't want to go down that road, I have seen too many archers up at full draw struggling to get through the clicker. But it would help with my consistency so what to do what to do.
Ok, maybe way too late since the post is from 2012. Did youstarted using a clicker? My experience with it is quite interesting. I shoot 29" on a 68" bow (still a samick vision. I just bought a rev and am waiting delivery), so I get my clicker quite straight and make a pass to be sure that 29" is my correct arrow lenght. Afterwards I move the clicker about 1 inch foward so I can easily pass it with all my arrows. From that point I start bringing the clicker back to a ponit close to making it as straight as possible, but still comfortable to get everything through. With time i can even come a.little back. The reason I do this is because consistency is about doing every time the same and not necessarily fighting the clicker. Many archers are used with shooting say 30" and are reluctant to shorten their arrows, so they fight the clicker. Let me know how you've worked it out
